August 4, 201016 yr The Vols have a first year coach, new QB, Running back left/Players kicked off and in trouble...Can the Cats and Miles beat the Vols? I'm not sure Miles will even see the field this year, but I do feel pretty good about our season. I was talking to a good friend yesterday and he is as close to the UT program as anyone I've met and has been for about 25-30 years and he said that this is the least amount of talent he has seen there in his time...and it isn't even close. He is a huge fan, but unlike many people very reasonable. Now, he did say tht Simms looks 100 percent better than at the Spring Game, but he sees 4-8 as a real possibility with 6-6 being a great season.
August 4, 201016 yr In case anybody cares, individual tickets for Cats games went on sale today. I care. Want to get tickets to the SC game.
August 4, 201016 yr Thanks, but I got 'em. 2 seats in section 116 row 42 and 1 accessible with 1 companion right above that. :ylsuper: I have to have wheelchair seating for Mrs. S. BTW, first time I've bought tickets through the UK box office. The audio highlights on hold are fantastic. :thumb:
August 5, 201016 yr Author I have been told Freshman Teven Eatmon 6'7 320 pounds is going to start out at DT.
August 7, 201016 yr Author Anybody going to Fan Day? I was wondering if it cost anything or if u have to pay for parking?
August 7, 201016 yr Teven Eatmon-Nared will be strictly on the OL. The idea was tossed around for DT but with the addition of Donte Rumph and some more possibly big news, we seem to look pretty good at DT this year. Also, Patrick Ligon will likely be moved from DE to DT. As for the possible big news. LSU signee Elliot Porter a 3/4 star fringe 6'4" 285 lbs OL/DL is reportedly on UK's campus tonight checking things out. As of Tuesday he was considering UT but with 3 days gone by and not a lot of time, things look promising for the Cats. Porter was the #14 overall player in Louisiana last year. He was signed by LSU and wasn't expected to be a qualifier for the Bayou Bengals. When he reported earlier this week, he was told that due to his uncertain status, that he would be greyshirted (enroll at the school in January and be a part of next years signing class but with the added perk of spring practice). Porter apparently didn't like that deal and has been granted his release and is immediately eligible at any school of his choosing. As tonight is the first day of practice for the Cats, it may also be one of the biggest recruiting nights for Joker while the kid is on campus. HUGE GET IF THIS HAPPENS!
August 7, 201016 yr Anybody going to Fan Day? I was wondering if it cost anything or if u have to pay for parking? Fan day is free admission and free parking. Any of the parking lots surrounding the stadium is open to the public. Gates open at 5 and there is usually plenty of good spots still to be had. The Cats have an open practice from 6-8 and then the team is announced and autograph booths are set up.

August 8, 201016 yr Author Just got back from Fan Day. Miles looks bigger than some of the TE's. He had a great practice at running back! Sanders is like a pinball. Gainer looks more like a straight ahead runner. WR's all looked good. LB's were playing great so was the Safety's. If u ask me Simpson and Sanders would be my next backs behind Locke and Russell. They both bring something the other running backs don't have should be a great year for the Wildcats!

Just playing man. :thumb:
