Seriously, it's not secret that Patterson has worked hard & improved his draft stock throughout the entire draft process. He's done everything the right way, and that's to be commended. Congrats to him & his family. He'll go down as one of my favorite players to don a Kentucky jersey.

June 25, 201016 yr Author I'm just spitballing here, but does anyone think that this will help Kentucky's chances in China? Calipari has already made it a point to sell Kentucky's brand in China. I'd imagine that the Chinese are Houston fans (if they follow the NBA) because of Yao. Throw in Chuck Hayes & Patrick Patterson on to what Cal has done & what Hood & Harrellson did this summer in China, and I think we're only a few years away from Kentucky's first Chinese recruit. I'd love to have a 7'2'' Chinese PF for 2011.
June 25, 201016 yr I hope Patty-P (sorry GT:lol:) does well there and I think he will. He may not be a Hall of Famer but teams know what they are getting. He is a scrappy guy that continues to improve and keeps it clean off the court. What more could you want at pick #14?

We all call him Pat-Pat. Could not be any happier for him - he is on a great team.
