I'm not sure of that Boone County rule but Borchers is still the football coach as well.

went to Dixie to be the AD. Glad Bieger returns. Heard an assistant coach may not be returning though.

 

It would not surprise me if several did not come back as their philosophies seem to be different. All seem to be good people though and I wish them all the best if they decide not to return.

That is good that Biegs will be back. I do hope that the assistants return, but if not I wish them the best also. Hopefully this whole process will be a learning process for all parties. IMO, if you come down on your team for something they did wrong you should be prepared to give them an "Atta Boy" if they do something right. If this happens I just feel that a kid, and they are kids, will respect and take one for you if need be. This again is just my opion, and again I am glad to see this return.

Coach Borchers made it known that if he accepted the AD position, he would not step down as Head Coach and seeing as he got the job, I guess it will be allowed.

In Boone County--athletic directors are not "administrators" (unless they are also an assistant principal or higher up). Matter of fact--all of the AD's that I know of in Boone County still teach a class or two.
