Yep and I believe that is recruiting. It happened at my school last year.

Or maybe it's just parents being aware of the syste, and how to get into a better SCHOOL.

I don't know if this has already been answered but how many kids that are on Trinity or St. X's football team are from Indiana? I spoke with someone who tossed out a figure that was extremely high in regards to that question. I just need this for clarification.

Out of the approximately 280 students in all 4 grades that play football at St. X, 5 or 6 are from Indiana. Can anybody name more than one player?

Recruiting (according to the KHSAA Bylaw 10 definition) has to do with a coach, school official, or booster trying to influence a prospective student to attend a school for athletic reasons. How does a kid transferring to a middle school in a well-defined feeder system equate to recruiting?

Then why didn't they enroll there in 6th grade?

Then why didn't they enroll there in 6th grade?

Maybe they tried and didn't get in the first time.

H, you got a PM

Then why didn't they enroll there in 6th grade?

Maybe they head about how Earl Heyman couldn't go to the school of his choice, and that to prevent that from happening to them, they researched what they needed to do. Not every kid picking their middle school when they're nine or ten knows what they need to do to go to a particular high school...
