Hawks closing out the Bucks, boring game. Next up: Lakers and Jazz.

Funny how things work out, last year we got one of the best (non Finals) series in NBA history and this year we get a Bucks/Hawk crapfest.

CONGRATS ATLANTA!!

One thing I've kinda got a problem with is the scheduling, the Hawks now won't play game 1 of their series until Tuesday, by then the other Eastern 2nd round will have played 2 games.

Boston/Cleveland play Game 2 Monday and don't play Game 3 til Friday, the words I want to use to display thoughts on that are not allowed on this site. :thumb:

The Hawks now play every other day until that series is over, against a team who has had a week off, which they earned by the sweep but why not wait until tomorrow to start the Cavs-Celts series? It is a big disadvantage.

Lakers don't make a field goal for the first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter and still win.

C'mon people, nothing to say after a THRILLING Game 7 or Kobe being Kobe down the stretch in Game 1??

Tonight Cavs/Celtics Game 2 and Spurs/Suns Game 1.

Nope. There was a game 7 yesterday?:lol::idunno:

As for Kobe, been there done that, been there expect that. Wake me up when the Cavs/Celtics play and when the Western Conference Finals start.

 I see I wasn't the only one who could have cared less about the Hawks/Bucks series. Game seven just decided who will get sacrificed to the Magic IMO.

As for the Jazz/Lakers, I really don't know how to take that game. I think that it showed that Kobe is still a ruthless, cold-blooded assassin. But I thought it was interesting to see the Jazz come back in LA, after they really had no answer for the Lakers bigs, especially Odom. I thought they would match up a little better there to be honest. I've just come to grips with the fact that the Lakers are going to make plays down the stretch, so I think that realistically only the Spurs have the experience to take them down in the West. Even they might not have enough to do it, but they do know how to play at the end of close playoff games. I do think the Jazz or Suns could make it a series against them though.

Kobe comes in with 7:30 left in the 4th and scores 13 to lock up the victory.

I didn't get the watch the game but it just sounded like Kobe doing his thing down the stretch. I think Phil leaves him out of the game to long sometimes in the 4th and it gives teams a chance to come back.

If the Celtics do end up winning this thing, we will get to hear FOUR DAYS of "should Cleveland panic" "is Game 3 a must win" "how healthy is Lebron" etc, etc.

24/7 sports talk is just great...

They were lucky to win game 1 really, I would be kind of worried.

Most disgraceful game I've ever seen. The Celtics are playing extremely well but LeBron is playing gutless basketball. If you're that hurt....go get surgery.

I'm not worried as a Cavs fan, I just realize they don't have what it takes. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am. DWill is playing with countless injuries, Kobe has been banged up all year....Andrew Bynum has a torn knee ligament... I get that LeBron is hurt, but who isn't right now? It's just sickening to see this kind of garbage from a player of that caliber.

I don't think Lebron is hurt, he was fine in game 1, he is just playing very bad. Doesn't look like he even wants to be playing honestly.
