Your right the Bulls were the 9th best team in the east until Bosh got hurt the last few games.

I guess we'll just have to wait and find out. I like the Cavs chances if LBJ is healthy.

The Bulls were not the 8th best in the East though. Without that injury to Noah that led to a 10 game losing streak they probably finish 5th or 6th.

.

Well if we are going to play if's and but's, than take away the injuries to Pierce and Garnett and the Celtics are pushing the Cavs for best record in the East.

The big men inside are why I think the Spurs have a chance. Look at what the Celtics did to them two years ago. Gasol is one of the weakest players in the NBA when push comes to shove, I don't think he'll do that good against Duncan. If Gasol, Bynum and Odom are slowed down the Lakers aren't better than anyone else in the West to me.

I'm not going to argue with your first two points.

Rasheed is one of the worst players in the NBA right now. He's statistically the worst rebounder per 48 minutes (for a guy 6'11" or taller) in NBA history. He doesn't shoot that well anymore and his defense is not even a shell of what it was. I think he's one of the worst 20 players in the NBA right now.

1) So, Celtics are old but Duncan, who you are arguing to dominate the Lakers is not?

2) Won't disagree with you and have stated it in this thread that Rasheed has to show this is the series that they brought him to Boston for.

^The Lakers are not especially deep. They have Odom coming off the bench and that's about it. Plus Kobe isn't healthy, that's the only reason I think anyone else has a chance.

Do what? They made a terrible trade getting rid of Harris. Who is the best player he's played w/ since Nash left? He's counting on an OLD pg, Caron Butler, Dampier, and Jason Terry. I think he'd do really well if he had one other scorer. He's their only scorer. Is Wade an alpha male? How has he done since winning the title?

Put Wade on the Mavs and they are still playing. In the last 6 minutes of the game last night Dirk took 2 shots and had 2 points. In the last 6 minutes of the season....... DWade wouldn't go out like that. Neither would any other top 10 player in the league. What talent has Wade had around him since he won it anyways? There is a whole thread about this being the most talented Dallas team ever. Give DWade that talent and watch him work. He already said he will never lose in the first round again. Dirk probably said he hopes he never loses in the first round again. I was very disappointed in Dirk's 4th quarter last night. He is not a superstar team leader and he needs to be on a team like the Spurs because if you have to depend on him to carry you, he'll choke or disappear. The proof is in the pudding.

I don't think so coach. The Celtics had Garnett at the end of the regular season and were not that good. The Celtics were never going to put out the effort to win 60+ games IMO because of the strain it would put on their bodies. I don't see any way the Celts would have won more games than Cleveland, especially where the Cavs gave up the last 4 games.

That's not to say that I don't think Boston is really good because they are, but the older teams have to kind of pace themselves more than the more youthful teams do, it's just nature. JMO.:thumb:

Oh no, the Hawks might extend their series..............

C'mon refs just get this series over with.

How cool is Kevin Durant? I read today that he lets the kids in his neighborhood come over and talk to him and he gets all of his shooting in early at home games so that he can sign more autographs for fans. He said he knows many of the fans who come to alot of their games by name and sends them individual tweets from time to time. How can anyone not like this guy? Actually I don't know if I've seen anyone who doesn't.

Deron Williams continues to impress me, he's averaging 28 points, 12 assist per game in this series. He has to be the best PG in the NBA.

Kobe went off for 16 in the 3rd.

Vintage Kobe Bryant. He's unstoppable when that jumper is on.:thumb:

Durant, Westbrook and Green are becoming one of my favorite trios in the NBA. I really like Ibaka too.
