Still better than the alternative from the Steelers perspective. I know many think "no charges = no suspension" but that's not how business works. Anyone can be suspended/fired for putting the company in bad light. This qualifies.

April 13, 201016 yr Are Steelers fans really happy about this? The DA blasted Ben here. He even let it be known by anyone following the story that Ben lied. She had no head laceration and male DNA inside of her. Just not enough to get a good DNA sample. She was too intoxicated to get a conviction so people are happy? That's sick and twisted to put it nicely. Also, he's a complete and total moron. Since this is the second time he's being accused of this I can't believe he gave cops a statement and lied. Good thing for him his agent or whoever was smart enough to step in and tell him to shut up or he'd be getting charged. It probably didn't hurt that the tapes were conveniently taped over too.

The DA also said "We do not prosecute morals, we prosecute crimes."

I'm guessing the DA would have liked to see her and his reactions after leaving that bathroom. Ben also said right after the "incident" that intercourse didn't take place but she fell and hit her head after a sexual act. Why no head injury? Why was there male DNA present in some areas? He got lucky and his money had a lot to do w/ his luck IMO.

That small amount of DNA could have been from the previous night, if she was with someone. They didn't say she did or didn't have a head injury in the press conference, well that I saw.

Maybe the tape would show something and maybe nothing, but it was quickly covered up and we will never know. Just because they can't prove anything does not mean a crime was or was not commited.
