You are spot on, Ogwumike is very good but the two UConn ladies are on a whole different level. Charles topped Lobo earlier this year in scoring and rebounding but Moore will hold the scoring title after next season. I didn't watch the first half, how in the world did UConn only score 12 points?
April 7, 201016 yr UConn has won every game by 10 or more during this recent streak, that is total domination.
April 7, 201016 yr 20-12 ought to put those to bed who think UConn is an unbeatable machine on the women's level. They will probably win because Stanford couldn't put one in the ocean standing on the beach, but I wonder if UConn would have 70 straight if the other women's programs were on top of their game? UT hasn't been themselves the last few years. This is the 2nd time in 11 years that the UConn women have won 70+ straight. In the last 11 years they have been to 8 Final Fours. If they win again tonight, it will be their 6th title during that span. During the same span Tennessee has been to 7 Final Fours with 2 Titles ('07 & '08) Exactly when during this 11 year stretch has UT not been themselves?

UT hasn't been themselves the last few years. Also, their non-conference schedule included: Texas Clemson Stanford Florida State North Carolina Duke Oklahoma Hartford This along with playing in an excellent Big East Conference. If I heard the guy on the radio correctly this was their 24th game against a Top 25 opponent this year. So they didn't beat a bunch of weak teams.
April 7, 201016 yr The best boys high school team in the country would dominate either UConn's or Stanford's women. Not even close.
April 7, 201016 yr Really the 1st time I paid close attention to the womens championship. The X Standford game was entertaining. But a complete collapse by X at the end of that game sealed the deal for them. Overall the play was subpar by all teams except UCONN. I have heard conversation in the past that some prefer to watch the womens game because they are more fundamentally sound. Sorry, I didn't see much of that. I for one will not watch much if any of this again.:puke:
April 8, 201016 yr Author Tina Charles (from UCONN) went #1 in the WNBA draft today. Big 48 hours for her. The big girl from Stanford who was absolutely abysmal went #5 overall. http://www.wnba.com/draft2010/draft_board.html
April 9, 201016 yr I watched the entire game; it was like poking myself in the eye with a sharp stick. Geno Auriemma was in total shock when ESPN tried to interview him as he left the court at halftime. Even he could not explain what he'd just seen.
