Anyone know how the 9U teams are looking? Is there any Pendleton County teams down there and if so did they pack a crowd like the high school team? Guess a little young for that, but they have great crowds to look forward to one day.

U11 Elite 8 is:

Lville Elite vs Hoops Elite South

Hoops Elite Kramer vs Team Lville

NK Wildcats vs BCK

NKY Magic vs Lville Lightning

Good luck to all teams. Should be a good Sunday at the KBA.

Hoops Elite South wins the AAU 11/u state championship over the NKY Magic 40-25. The Magic defeated the NKY Wildcats in OT in one semi-final and Hoops Elite South defeated Team Louisville by 20 in the other semi-final.Congrats to Hoops in only their 2nd weekend together they really improved as the weekend progressed and looked great in both final 4 games. The NKY semi-final game was a classic and it was too bad anyone had to lose it. Lot's of emotion, great game.

Hoops Elite also won the 9/u I think.

I heard Ky Elite, has a 15U-14U-13U and 12U teams this year. don't know about D Smith All Stars.

Congratulations to the U11 Hoops Elite on their state championship this past weekend. I saw some very good basketball being played in this age division. Several players are already giving us a sneek preview of what we are in store for over the next several years. :thumb:

U12 brackets will be posted soon. Who are the teams to beat?

D1 Hoop Dreams, Ky Elite

D2 Omega, Montgomery, WKY Heat

D2: Omega Rhinos, Montgomery Co., Ky Rim Rockers

D1: Nky Knights aka (Nky Wolfpack), Hoop Dreams, Hoops Elite

Kentucky Elite Kings defeat Hoop Dreams in the D1 state championship by 8 and Louisville Elite defeats the Rim Rockers by 10+ in the D2 finals. Braxton Beverly was really impressive for the D1 winners as well as Chance Melton and Kale Stotts. Louisville Elite had two really nice big kids in the D2 division.

Who are top teams in 13/u?

I like The Ville, Kentucky Elite, And the Knights in D1 and Kentucky Elite and Kentucky Thunder in D2. Kentucky Elite is playing split squad in both divisions.

Heard something really interesting in the KBA today. There will be an AAU proposal for D2 teams to have only 1 grade exception and D1 teams to have 5 next year. I personally like that and hope it is adopted.

Does anyone in NKY have the name of that new facility over in Anderson? Are there any other facilities around besides Mid West Hoops? Thanks!

Nothing But Nets...

Please tell you are kidding Southern. No way you can add more exemptions and improve the quality of AAU basketball. I would go the other way and eliminate them altogether and even the playing field for everyone. If the kid is advanced, play them up.
