Mardy Gilyard

Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 and I believe Emmit Smith was in the 4.5s or so.

Jerry Rice also had more than a couple inches to his advantage.

Just got back from the Pro Day at UC and don't have the official numbers yet, but unofficially Mardy ran a 4.44 and 4.51 today...

Were you able to get an overall feeling of how well he may have done, impression-wise, from the teams there?

I thought he had a really good day. If I had to guess right now I'd say he will be a mid to late 2nd round pick...

If what I just saw was correct, that the Bengals signed Antonio Bryant, then they probably won't take a WR in their first two picks...so Mardy's chances of staying in Cincinnati are probably dropping right now.

Maybe, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in a pewter helmet. The Bucs are on a definite youth movement, as evidenced by not resigning Bryant. They're going to need young receivers for Freeman to throw over, I mean, to.
