As far as PGs go, he isn't the best one of his era let alone all time. Kidd is the best PG in this era, IMO. Maybe if he had some rings or even finals appearences, I would feel different about him. 2 MVP's do count for something, though.

Again, the numbers are what they are. For me, the eye test counts and I have seen both players entire careers and I'll take Kidd over Nash in this era.

Kidd took the Nets to the Finals in back to back years- this isn't even a discussion I'm interested in having. ANYONE that claims Nash had had a better post-season career than Kidd or even tries to insiuate that those guys are close when it comes to the post-season knows NOTHING about basketball.

February 28, 201016 yr Jason Kidd has been better longer.. It took Nash around 4 years before he really started playing to his potential. Nash has always been good though, he showed alot of flashes during his early years in Phoenix and then Dallas IMO. I remember a few huge games he had off the bench, backing up Kidd. Kidd was amazing, but Nash got better with age. I'm in the minority, but over the last seven years I'd take Nash. Stats and convential wisdom say one thing, but for some reason I'd take Nash. Had Nash stayed in Dallas, he and Dirk probably would have won the Finals the year they played the Heat. I'll take Nash but I don't have any real reason for it. He's just a different guy. I will say this, Kidd was amazing. He's an All-Time great PG. As for shooter, I have to go Reggie Miller or Bird though.
