Max Nussbaum at Beechwood is pretty good started JV last year I believe.

Saw him catch the last 2 summers he is great behind the plate.

I hear they want him to pitch and he will not catch this year.

I heard the Ward kid at CCH is off to an impressive start.

Addison Brown from LLoyd, P/ IF, very good. He pitched a few spots varsity last year.

Haven't heard from any Conner people. I know they've got some nice kids out there.

IF any any of these top freshmen can play 15u select ball and are not playing with anyone PM me. I do know of a team looking for a player or 2 in the NKY area.

He didn't catch alot last year.....they started him at third I think. But ya I heard there working him out at pitcher to.

In the summer he caught all the time the last 2 years. Without question the best catcher in the SWOL.

Well i could see Max getting some varsity innings for pitching.......then start JV catcher I think he would be an upgrade from Hyde who started last year.

If you got Frosh playing varsity you got problems unless the frosh is 16 or 17

years old.

In general that is probably true. Every now and then there are exceptions to the rule. Maile and Isler come to mind as both not only played varsity as freshman but played alot. I am sure there are more examples where a freshman can play varsity.

I have seen max catch. His pop and blocking just are not ready for this level. On the other hand he pitches very well for a freshman, but i would say varsity pitching is not something he could do as well probably jv pitching time though.

Tanner Norton of Brossart is extremely talented and one of the best in this year's freshmen class.

Tiberi and Callary from Holy Cross will see some innings at the Varsity level. Both young men are play at an extremely advanced level. Watch out for this duo in the next four years.

I have heard that both will be playing varsity only, at least to start the season.

Didn't he play JV at SK last year? He is a pretty good catcher, if he is who I am thinking of. Could he see some varsity innings at BBHS?
