16th Region draw

Featured Replies

Not for sure on who plays what night, but Ashland plays Fleming and East and Lewis are on their side of the bracket. Fairview/Rowan and Elliott/Greenup. I heard a radio station announce the pairings, but it was going in and out.

In the semi's we could see:

Ashland vs East Carter

Fairview vs Elliott

Can anyone confirm these pairings are correct and what nights are each game played?

I know the Fleming/Ashland game is Friday at 8 pm.

EC & LC and Ashland & Fleming is being played on Friday Night.

Upper Bracket

Rowan Co vs Fairview March 4, 6:30PM

Greenup Co vs Elliott Co. March 4, 8:00PM

Lower Bracket

East Carter vs Lewis Co March 5, 6:30PM

Ashland vs Fleming Co March 5, 8:00PM

When is the semifinals and finals of this region? Thanks!

This is one year in the 16th all first round games could be as good as any in the tournament. Every game has the possibilty of being decided by single digits.

I would like to see that, but highly doubt it.

I do to but there is more of a chance this season that in the past.

I think 7 or 6 of the teams have a legitamate shot at cutting the nets down.

Fairview (the talent is there)

Rowan Co (playing their best ball of the year right now)

Elliott Co (Knipp will get his points, the key is will Nickell)

East Carter (Barnhill is a force)

Ashland (Very experienced and talented team)

Fleming Co (depending on which team shows up)

Lewis (doesn't have the horses needed)

Greenup (has the height and athleticism but lack a leader on the floor)

This is going to be a fun region to watch

Just my opinion

I would tend to agree but would narrow it to your first five listed. Either way it makes for an exciting region tourney!:thumb:
