50th District finals for the 5th straight year, South will travel to Corbin for the 2nd time this year...

I would love to see South pull it out, but the cycle is in the Hounds favor, and I don't see anyway Corbin doesn't win this one. I hope I am wrong but, ..

South is well coached and always a threat, so you can't count them out. But, I'm going to go withe Corbin 70-60.

I picked the Cards last time so maybe I'm a jinx for South. However, this time I'll take the Hounds. South has good coaching and will have a good game plan, but I think the Hounds will slow down Watkins enough to pull it off. Besides, the implications of this game are huge...Nobody wants to chance playing Clay Co. in the first round.

Actually they have played 18 times since 2005-06. South Laurel is 11-7 overall.

They have played 15 times from the start of the 06-07 season till now is what I meant. But that makes it even better. U have been around here longer than I have les hahaha

Did North already forfeit? I don't think so, to my knowledge Clay and NL plays tonight for the district championship. Clay is a very hot team and a very good team, but I don't think you can automatically write-off NL. The last NL Clay game went to overtime where Clay eventually won by 3, at Clay County. So I don't know how you can already crown Clay as 49th District Tournament champs.

No one is writing off NL, but Clay is the favorite and probably the 2nd best team in the Region. I'm actually pulling for NL, but I think they have their work cut out for them. I just think that Clay is a tougher matchup for the Hounds. With that said, in the Region everyone has a legitimate shot. I haven't forgotten about the NL/CHS game last year. I meant no disrespect and wish the Jags the best of luck tonight.

Redhounds in another classic 62 to 59. Then again it may be a non-classic and Hounds roll 78 to 51.
