With Chris Tracy to go to Franklin County I thought I would start a thread for the discussion on who will be the next head coach at Woodford County.

I would like to see Denny Ledford apply for it...quality coach.

As would I. Denny does a fantastic job with or WITHOUT talent. Quality man, good coach-knows how to win! :ylsuper:

:thumb: I agree Sammy.

Somebody needs to shake the moth balls off ol' Jimmy Birch! I'm sure he could find his whistle if he wanted to!!

Any new news or updates on this one ? Will they interview Coach Ledford ?

I know Ledford has applied and is very interested. Who are some others that have applied or are interested?

They should hire Coach Ledford. :thumb: I don't know of any others that have applied though I'm sure they have.

I know Paul Roher has applied former head coach at East Jessamine and was the DC at Woodford the last 3 years. He is also running the wight lifting program till a coach is hired.

I know an associate head coach at a neighboring county has applied. He has help lead his respective school in one of the biggest turnarounds in 5a football over the last several years. He also had a very successful stint as the head coach at Mercer County High School. This candidate is very worthy of consideration for this job. He would be a great hire for Woodford County.

Coach Jaggers?

The head coach at Mercer Co before Jaggers, Duane Hammons, Anderson County's Defensive Coordinator.

Anybody know if Woodford is going to move closer to hiring a new football coach anytime soon? Just not hearing a whole lot about this opening?

Coach Jaggers?

You know, I wouldn't be shocked to see this happen if Jaggers is even interested? Word on the street is that he would love to get back in it, especially if he could stay retired from teachig and just coach. With him still living in Mercer County, it would be a short drive up 127 and Bluegrass Parkway.
