2 division 1 skill players will help you do that. Don't know if they have any as good as those 2 coming. Probably the most talented 2 players they've ever had at the same time.

By the way the division 1 players graduated before the run to the Semi's. Plus they really only had both of them full time their senior year. In French's second year it was basically just Calhoun because Miller dislocated his elbow in the second game. That sidelined him for the rest of the year.

They went 5-5 the year they just had Calhoun. Trent Calhoun and Braxton Miller are 2 of the best players Larry French has ever coached. He said it himself in the paper their senior year. I never said they weren't coached well.Trent and Braxton both started their sophomore year at WKU. You can't do that unless you have alot of talent I dont care how well your coached. Lincoln County played in the State Championship game in 90 and 93 and didn't have 1 kid sign D 1 those years either but they had alot of good players.Larry French wasn't a smarter coach this year at Boyle than he was in 2004 at Lincoln when he went 2-8 . He had better players with more talent. When Lincoln gets more talent they'll have better teams. Mike Settles has won when he's had better talent just like alot of coaches.

Lincoln needs to develop a QB. Last years QB completed ony 25 of 100 passes and threw 13 interceptions with only 4 TD passes. Its very difficult for the offense to get anything going when they turn it over a lot of the time.

75 dropped passes?? The DB"s from the other teams had no trouble catching the passes. I was just stating the facts from last year's season stats. Like it or not, it is usually the QB who gets the glory when things go right and he also gets the negative press for when things go bad.

But if you haven't seen them play, it is awfully hard to put all the blame on the QB. You are right about who normally gets the glory/blame, but it is still a team game which depends on every player doing their job. And not every incomplete pass is a dropped pass so I seriously doubt there were 75 dropped passes. But if you have 3 drops per game, that is 30 in a regular season. All of a sudden the number is 55/100 instead of 25/100 which is much better. Not saying that this happened, but I did see 2 Lincoln games on tape and they did have quite a few dropped passes.

The qb is a good running qb. The team was forced to throw the ball too much last year because they would get behind early. That being said, the passing game was putrid. The team really needs drastic improvement EVERYWHERE. The running game should be solid this season.
