Montgomery County 74 Deming 49

Featured Replies

Looks like Montgomery County really spread the scoring out. It's always a good thing when you have to make teams guard everyone instead of just one player as some teams were able to do against Montgomery earlier in the season.

A thread jack has occurred here.

Those dog-gone Mason Co. fans always making everything about them :rolleyes::irked::ohbrother:

Be easy on these Mason County fans because we are coming to Mt Sterling on Tuesday night.:popcorn:

The pottys are still clean. Hope the weather cooperates.

I said it'd be 25+, this Deming team was one of the teams that went to the 7th and 8th grade state tournaments I believe. Goes to show that holding kids back doesn't work out in your favor:sssh:

Name one kid for Deming who has been held back. If you are referring to the King twins they were held back before they started Kindergarten. There are alot of kids that have done that. We could have a huge list of players in the 10th region alone that are currently playing who have been held back. Unless their parents were fortune tellers and knew that they were going to be good when they were 4 or 5. Which I don't think was the case. So tell me who has been held back?

Caldwell-should be a senior

Kings-should be seniors

Schalch-should be a junior

Collins-should be a senior, if not already graduated

Should we talk about GRC since there whole roster should be seniors???

NO!!! who cares what grade who should be in if the Kids meet the KHASS regulations and are eligable to play then there should be no issues or excuses.

If we want to take it a step further Jacob Hesler, if he still plays, should also have already graduated. And if I recall correctly, in the case, this would be an infraction to KHSAA Bylaw 3.

Don't quote me on that because I'm not 100% sure but I know alot of things that go down at Deming High School that aren't very ethical.

I simply noted that in Deming's case these players who are a year older aren't having the same success that they were "famed" for in middle school.

If you want to talk about GRC then feel free, you as well as I paid a fee to talk about whatever we want...I simply wanted to talk about Deming

I think the cast of players around the King twins has gotten less and less talented as they've gone through school. They are both very skilled players but they cannot do it alone.

Traditorem the way you made it sound in your first post was that these kids were held back solely for athletic purposes. Is this true? I would really like to know myself. But, I don't think that was the case with any you mentioned. But if it is by all means correct me.

Knowing who the families are, It's a safe assumption:thumb:

They surely haven't missed the Grause kid that much. Isn't this pretty much the exact team that almost went to the ALL A from the 10th region? Must be a lot of inner turmoil or something no one is seeing.

I say your inner turmoil quote is right. Just by some things I've heard from some sources.

First and formost your wrong. I know the twins dad and he says they weren't held back. I believe this came up once before when they were in middle school and it was proven then they weren't held back because of a few boneheads thought they were either held back because of there size which was proven the accusations was false.

Held back or started late, in my eyes it is the same. Are they significantly older than other players in their class I believe so.
