January 26, 201016 yr It wouldn't be a episode without Chumlee breaking something! He said maybe they'll bring us something to drink. What an idiot.
January 26, 201016 yr Author This dude is trying to sell $700,000 in coins at a pawn shop. It was probably worth it though. Just not in a pawn shop.

January 26, 201016 yr "That's an insult to the Pez community!" I'm glad somebody else just caught that too. That guy is easily the most annoying customer I have ever watched on Pawn Stars and I do believe I have saw almost every episode. What an idiot. I think he was by far the dumbest customer I have ever saw. Obviously, I'm not too up or in with the "Pez Community", but if I had about fifty pez dispensers I would have took a grand for them easy and been on my way out the door. Especially if they were my doubles (as he said many of those were). What an idiot.

What I can't figure out is why he wouldn't just sell them through the "Pez community" and get the prices he wants? He's got to know that a pawn shop isn't going to give him those specialty prices. Regardless, his line was freakin' hysterical. I laughed for several minutes after hearing that.

I know, makes me wonder about the "Pez Community", may just be in his head. Or I may just live in the wrong state, or have the wrong hobbies one. But yes Shoe you are right, quote of the season thus far. He said he wanted to grab $2500 and Hoss told him he could grab it somewhere else. I know that was so funny wasn't it? I'm kind of surprised Hoss offered him a stack for them. Leads me to think that if ole guy would have actually taken that offer that it may have been another Rick ripping Hoss for a stupid buy episode. I doubt Hoss is a "Pez" expert, and sadly I doubt, he, Rick, or Ole Man have a "Pez Expert" on speed dial like some of the other experts who frequent the shop (and show). He was basically just taking the guys word on it and let the guy bait him into a thousand. Now it may have been worth every penny, and he may have at least doubled up his investment, but I just find it hard to believe that there would be any kind of market for Pez dispensers. Especially enough of a market to get a thousand deep. I still just can't get over that guy though, he was king stiff, and he wasn't going to stand for anyone not respecting Pez to his and his Pez Community's standards. I mean the right or wrong words come out of somebody's mouth and I guarantee he's ready to throw blows over some Pez.
January 26, 201016 yr I guess some of you all believe wrestling is real too? lol. People on the show have to be interesting, or they won't be on, and the show will die. Yes, Pez dispensers has a big following, I have known that for a while as it was on some TV show a while ago. Plus Corey even said he knew there is a big following of them online, I am sure they know what stuff people collect and which ones have big following. The most expensive one? It was on action on EBay and sold for over $32,000. Lets say you had a baseball card or vinyl record collection, and you wanted to get rid of some doubles you had, and the total worth of those is about $2,500, and someone offered you only $1,000? Would you sell? Or wait a bit and slowly get rid of them and make much closer to the 2 and a half grand?
