I wouldnt say they are a ranked team but they did travel down to their tournament after a very tough win last night.

MC has a very good freshman in Omar Prewitt. He is a lights out shooter. Keith Greisser, former Conner Cougar from the early 90's is the HC down there.

They are in a rebuilding year. Great coach and the team plays really hard and backs down from no one. I would say they are somewhere in the 5-10 team in the 10th region. Pre-season, they were not ranked in the top 10. MC is doing alot better than most thought they would. I though they might upset CC, picked them in the contest.

I thought the same thing.

This was not a good game for Montgomery County. The team was really flat! Coach let the starters watch a big portion of the second half.

Hopefully his point was taken.

Riedinger 3/4 from three.

And what a difference this makes in a game. Deflates the defensive team and inflates the offense.

If no one connects from the outside, it's hard to do anything well as defenses pack it in. If you do hit outside shots, you can do two things well, as it will free up the middle, and with Jake and Trevor, they will certainly benefit from it.

And look how wide open.

And they were definately trying to sag on Thelen.
