You can be offered a opportunity to come play football at all the Academies, but still have to get an appoinment from a senator, congressman or president. Their is no actual scholarship.

Heard a story just yesterday about a young man that graduated from Highlands in the 70's and was offered by West Point. He received an appointment from then President Nixon. Pretty awesome. He did not end up attending West Point however.:idunno:

I love hearing this one! He is one of the best linebackers I have seen in years. It would have been very surprising and disappointing to me if he did not get an offer to play D1 ball. An education at West Point is an offer rivaled by very few. Good luck Brandon!! I hope you have found the place for you.

I agree on these points. IMO I think he was the best player on their team. he should get a few more offers.

I'm surprized that he hasn't had more offers . He also plays tight end .

Brandon recieved an offer from Air Force last night. It doesn't appear that he will going there though.
