Holmes/Mason County predictions 01/02

Featured Replies

Holmes has played 9 of their first 11 games on the road. I'm not sure it matters where this game is played.

As VOR said, the challenge isn't playing at The Fieldhouse, but rather playing a Mason Co team that seems to be playing good ball right now.

For the MC fans, what kind of match ups should we expect to see? Who are the starters for MC? (height, position)

G - Jordan Gilbert, 5'9", Jr.

G - Justin Lang, 5'10", Sr.

F - Bradley Lang, 6'2", Sr.

F - Treg Setty, 6'8", Jr.

C - Tyler Black, 6'2", So.

Small lineup compared to the height and athletes Holmes will roo out with.

No doubt.:D

Who will they play though? Is Pittman playing? No one knows game to game who their Coach will sit.

Pittman was sitting out before for receiving two tech's in the Ballard game. Not sure if Avery will be playing because of a foot injury, but Pittman will be in the lineup.

I'd expect to see the following match ups:

6'3 Slusher v 5'9 Gilbert

6'4 J. Johnson v 5'10 Lang

6'5 R. Johnson v 6'2 Lang

6'6 Rice v 6'2 Black

6'8 Pittman v 6'8 Setty

Holmes may go small though and start 6'0 Hayes instead of Slusher. He has been playing pretty well lately.

The challenge might be not getting sick on the way out there. That highway can give you a headache.:puke:

It's not even January and folks are worried about playing at The Fieldhouse.

:notworthy::laugh::laugh:

Tough game for Mason Co.

Royals rollin in on a 4 game win streak with big MO from the AIT as Champs.

I'll be at the game, ready to watch a battle.

Avery of Holmes will not be playing in this game. He was on the bench tonight with a boot on his foot and crutches.

Coach Henley said he expects him to be out around 3 weeks.

Well Pawsat and Harris are still out for Mason,So they both play with what they have leaves no excuses for the loosing team this way with both teams having players out!Should be fun,Hopefully Royals can keep it close...

Holmes should win this contest, but the Royals will keep the margin within 10 points. Mason's defense will keep this a low scoring game. Expect scores to be in the mid 50's.

Is this part of DH or boy/girl or traditional varsity/jv? What time do you expect the big game to start? With UK/UL I might be pushing for time.
