I was talking about the terrorist. His name was on the list with 550,000 people. He just wasn't on the no fly list, or special interest list.

This was discussed on GMA today. Is it racial profiling if 100% of the terrorists so far have been Muslim? On one hand, this is unfair to the entire Muslim community, most of which are decent law abiding citizens. On the other hand, shouldnt ethnic background be part of the profiling if evidence proves it? Interesting debate.

You would certainly think they could have some type of cross referencing of various parameters which would increase the odds of his being targeted for a closer look. For example, from a myway.com article:

 

- How did the terrorist watchlist system allow Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to both keep his American tourist visa and avoid extra flight screening despite his father telling authorities his concerns about the younger man's radicalization?

 

- Why didn't Abdulmutallab's lack of luggage, and cash purchase for an international flight, raise suspicions

Very interesting article! We do have to remind ourselves that our government is very powerful. Where there is power, there is often deceit and arrogance. I will be interested in watching as this story continues to unfold.

Now the guy was on the same flight again. No mention of a name or any kind of follow up though. If we know the government is hiding something here what else have they been hiding in the past?

This is a bit far fetched, but if the Government is covering this up does it help the theory that the black boxes from the 9/11 terror attack were actually found? Why are people not outraged that they won't let this attorney help them get to the bottom of an attempted terror attack on Americans? They have the video and won't let him view it to actually show them exactly what he's talking about. Why do they not want that out?
