Didn't Mason start 2 Sr's, 2 Jr's and a Shopomore? Setty and Gilbert, Jr's. Both Langs and Manship are Seniors, Black a Sophomore. This isn't young, more like inexperience. Isn't Setty and Gilbert the only starters back from last year? You can fill us in on the grades of the others.

So there is 5 seniors, 1 sophomore and rest juniors? Not a young team as you stated, but inexperienced. That is what the season is for, Mason will be fine come tourney time.:thumb:

That's a tall order!

 

I don't expect MC to be a juggernaut considering what they lost, but I'd expect them to beat Holy Cross by more than 11 points. One of the biggest reasons for the W was a big first quarter in which they outscored HC 21-12. The rest of the game was nip-tuck.

 

I realize they'll get better as the season goes on, but I guess I just expect a wider margin considering HC is VERY inexperienced this year and lacks a go to player like years past.

Agreed. Had to have been at least 8 to 10 missed free throws from Mason County in the 4th alone.
