There have been a couple that have won with 5 losses I think that Shelby Co did it 87.

What a season for PT to finish with the regular season at 4-6 and still believed they had a chance when no one else did. They will be the model for every team who did not finish the regular season with that winning record, that they can win it all if they believe and work hard enough.

I thought it was when they expanded to two district representatives and did away with the sub-districts....but my memory is getting fuzzy on those dates.

I am sorry I thought SC lost 5. I know that Bell Co did but 4 of those were forfeits. If we are going to use those then Highlands in 04 had al of those.

If it were up to MANY on this board, PT would have never even been in the playoffs. So many on here want to eliminate the #4 & #3 seeds to shorten the season by a week and prevent the #4 seeds from getting blown out. If they had their way, PT would not be the state champs, ... but they are!

How many losses did Corbin have in their title win in the early 80"s ? I do not know but it was quite a few if memory serves me right
