November 18, 200916 yr If the whole idea of a spread is to get equal action I don't know how Baltimore (-1) makes this happen. The only thing I can think is most bettors will hammer the Colts and drive the line up to (+3) or so and then some will take the Ravens at home but something is fishy here. I know from my experience in betting the (-1) is I lost a bunch and I would do it again if I were playing. That would make me concerned but I'm a sucker, I'm playing with fake money and I put a boatload on Indy.

Why wouldn't they make Indy -1 or -2 if they thought that's the only time people would bet Baltimore? The odds makers last week were very good. The suckered the whole world on Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and the Saints. It may not make up for what they lost on the terrible teams a few weeks back, but they got it done. Nobody on here that jumped on me in the Baltimore Cincy thread can say they're getting anything close to even on this game if it already moved 2 points. They are telling you they believe Baltimore wins this game and they don't care if you don't think the same way.
