I won't say a score because all I did was say 25 is right for morehead (they won by 26) and people told me how ridiculous I was the whole time. Looks like everyone here is drinking the Kool-Aid now looking at these predictions. I'm curious where all the ones that told me how dumb I sounded last week are for these predictions though.

1. UK did not have John Wall last Friday.

2. Miami (OH) is no Morehead St. They went 17-13 last year, and graduated 3 of their top scorers, including MAC Player of the Year Michael Bramos.

3. UK won by 16, not 26.

Any more questions?

I was the 2nd vote for Miami to win. That was a mistake click, so take it back to one. Monday mornings :idunno:

I was beginning to wonder what inside secret you might have.

My bad. Oh well I'll go back to my hole but either way I would take Miami over Morehead.

Why?

Why?

The OVC is just bad in basketball in my opinion really bad. I've watched a lot of it over the years with my dad and wife graduating from EKU and I've not seen many OVC games and or teams that have really impressed me. Morehead was somewhat of a surprise last year, but I'm still not sold on them being any threat in the tourney. Not to mention the MAC has had some competitive basketball over the years. It's mainly just in my gut to not count on OVC teams in any game non conference. And if my 25 point prediction was absurd for an OVC team why is now suddenly not crazy to pick UK by 30, 40, or 50 points as has been done on here.

Not sure what Kool-Aid you are drinking, but UK won by 16, not 26 against Morehead St. The final was 75-59. So I think the people who told you that you were ridiculous were right. It's alright if we drink the Kool-Aid, we are loyal lifelong fans, and that's ok. Perhaps you should worry more about "your" team than brandishing someone else's.

I missed the final score I thought my wife had told me 85 when I got home but I was wrong. Should have checked. But either way I'm not too worried about my team, we are finally healthy again and I feel like the experience our freshman were forced to get last year will make a big difference in SEC this year. With Alabama and Mississippi State already suffering embarrassing loses, I'm feeling even better about our chance for an outright SEC regular season championship. Even if UK beats us that's only 1 game and there isn't an SEC team I don't think we can't have a chance to beat.

Also I'm not trying to "brainwash" any UK fans. They brainwashed themselves years ago, my wife included. But I do think this team could be that good. I hate UK and I would love nothing more than to get on here and pick against them every game like I did last year (mainly because Billy G proved he could make any game interesting). But I try to be as real as I can with what I predict.

Morehead won 26 games last year, Faried is a solid draft pick. Miami lost it's top scorers and plays a way different style. I think Morehead is more of a challenege than Miami OH. I think people are making predictions of wins by 30+ is because John Wall is playing and adds so much to the team, but we will see.

I am going too.:thumb:

I'll be there too, and I think I also have a lower arena ticket lined up for the North Carolina game on Dec. 5th.:dancingpa

I wish I was gonna be there........UK 86-Miami47

Anyone with extra tickets be sure to PM me.

Kentucky 82-56.

My son just called me and said his roomate ask him if he wanted to go, that he has 2 lower arena seats. Boy was he excited!:jump:
