Take your pick. I don't know much about PRP. Ryles only losses came against Highlands, twice. (#1 team in the state) And SK, 3rd or 4th best team in the state. Ryle has a 1500 yard runner and QB has over 1500 yards passing. I'll take Ryle in this one.

Louisville readers -- Can anyone supply information on PRP? Who have they beaten? Who have they nearly beaten? They play a tough schedule, but their power ranking (Litkenhous) is in the same range as Boone County. How much stock do we put in these numbers?

They run the wing-T which is tricky to prepare for and have good team speed. Ryle should win but PRP won't be a pushover.

PRP teams in the past have been very athletic and move all over the field.

Could the wing T pose some issues for Ryle? You don't see that offense to often.

The only thing that I think would challenge Ryle would be some very deft mis-directional running (cross-bucks & counters) or a really good passing game (or both). This opinion based upon what has worked against them - Simon Kenton and Highlands.

 

Next closest games were Conner & Dixie, and they had both of those down by 21 or more in the 4th quarter (when each had their passing games come alive and narrow the final margin.)

Ryle will be fine as long as they do not think it will be an easy game. Never take anything for granted at playoff time. Do or die. I'm sure that PRP will have some good athletes that can hurt you.
