Fox News kicking butt and taking names

Featured Replies

Do any other liberals out there actually watch some Fox News? I think it is hilarious. I also enjoy Republican Radio. One station is so bad and actually offensive that if you like politics and fall to the left, some of the stuff on there will make you so mad that you can't even take it serious.

Not sure of liberals but the survey taken about a year ago had their audience as about 40% Republicans and 33% Democrats.

As to the reactions to Fox and conservative radio I would think the liberal reaction to them would be the same as the conservative reaction to MSNBC and Air America.

I don't listen to Air America, but do they have racial overtones? Ameriright or what ever the name of the Rep. radio station I've listen to has some blatant and direct racism, especially when talking about Obama. After one thing they said about Tiger Woods I knew that I couldn't take the station seriously anymore. I have learned to just laugh at racists, there is no need in getting mad IMO. I think that it is sad that people live their lives that way, and I feel sorry for them more than I am mad, if that makes any sense. I will say that I haven't seen anything like that on Fox News thanfully.

He's really not near as bad as the others, still not something I tend to watch often.

Stewart and Colbert are anything but hilarious. Lame is a word that describes them best.

We obviously differ in our opinions of Stewart and Colbert.

I would guess that one person beating 3 other stations by himself, would be significant.

And I say that as a person who can't stand to watch Hannity.

I was amazed that many people actually watched him.

And I've provided a theory as to why he beats those other stations.

I would be interested in your opinion in the thread on Chris Mathews saying the religious right in this country is like the Taliban.

Haven't listened in a while and don't even know if they still are out there, but when I did they certainly had their biases against different conservative groups that was disgusting. I agree that certain elements on both sides don't deserve to be taken seriously and I agree that there is no use in getting mad about it. It is what it is.

Personally, I don't watch any of them. I'd rather watch John Stewart and Steven Colbert, or any other program on television than to watch Hannity, Oreilly, Olbermann, Maddow or any other joke of a TV show that is on any of those channels.

Colbert may be the funniest man on TV right now.

OK, I'll check out the thread when I get back from class.:thumb:

Politics are really a joke either way. Both conservative and liberal policies are flawed, and both sides claim that the other is "evil". And yes there is no need to get mad at them. A conservative should find liberal tv/radio funny and vice-versa IMO. No sense in getting mad about something you cannot change.

Your theory is flawed. Based on your theory, liberal talk radio should have better ratings than conservative talk radio, right?

These 'news" shows have become a joke, none of them are unbiased in their reporting. Ratings(which means more money)and their agenda drives them, not the news.

I watch Fox News for their female anchors!!!!!

You want ratings, legs works everytime!!!
