Fox News kicking butt and taking names

Featured Replies

Your theory is flawed. Based on your theory, liberal talk radio should have better ratings than conservative talk radio, right?

I don't know, I don't listen to either and I know next to nothing about them. They're a complete waste of time.

It wasn't much of a theory anyways. I used the wrong word to describe my thoughts. It was more of a suggestion than a theory.

These 'news" shows have become a joke, none of them are unbiased in their reporting. Ratings(which means more money)and their agenda drives them, not the news.

I agree.

I'm really not sure what you are talking about.

Fox news maybe kicking every other networks butt. But it hasnt translated into any victories for the republicans in national elections latley.

IMO people that say that a network helps a candidate is blowing smoke. The networks' core audience already knows who they are voting for. They may offer talking points as to why they are voting for their candidate but I don't believe for a second that any network impacts an election.

Of course the core audience knows who their voting for. We call these people Liberals and Conservatives. How about the independent voters they play a big role in national elections. They don't know who their voting until the day of the election. So they watch these stations to figure out the values of each candidate and their platform and the platform of the party. I believe that is helping a candidate.

Fox News was winning the ratings war last november and Rush was dominating the airwaves and even with that double whammy Obama won.

What does one have to do with the other? As stated above, their audience only runs about 40% Republican.
