Ashland will host Dixie Heights in the first round.

Woodford County will travel to Covington Catholic.

Trey Rogers had a big night - about 270 yards, I think.

Some one was asking (on the update thread) why this one was played tonight. It was originally scheduled that way. These two teams always play on Saturday. Due to the long bus ride, I think. I went there the first year we played in this district. It's probably more that 2.5 hours in a school bus.

Rogers had a great game, almost 300 yards rushing with four TDs.

Alber got his rest for next week, and I'm sure he will get some rest next week, getting ready for the playoffs.

If "some" games means anything more than one game, then Ashland will pull off probably the biggest upset in Kentucky playoff history, in playoff week two.

Biggest upset in playoff history? Really?

This Ashland team beat Ironton, correct?

Yes, Ashland beat Ironton this year. If Ashland were to face Highlands, and beat them it would be a huge, huge upset.

An upset no doubt, but the biggest in playoff history?

It most certainly would be an upset. However the "biggest upset"??...c'mon.

Congrats to the Cats on their win against Woodford...

I don't know. What do you consider to currently be the biggest upset in playoff history?

It would be pretty close to the biggest upset. Highlands is number one in the State. And nationally ranked! But we have awhile before that one is played.

Im not sure....sounds like a good thread for you to start LRCW.
