Must be something in the water in this whole county making the players more suitable for injury! Hopefully things get better and Greenup proves my prediction wrong. I've sure been off here as of late anyways.

:lol: Actually, I would rather be in the playoffs than to end my season and watch everyone else. GCHS is a team with a new coach that has obviously renewed the interest and love of football with a "team" policy and not what had been going on there for years. GCHS is imo on their way to being a very good program.

It's sounds like to me Oldrambler that the fans are turning on the coaching staff already. Not all of course. But I think most are. And that is a shame. This coach for some reason has a long way to go to make this a really good team. But most are only giving him a very short time to do it. It's like it's already to late for most. They are fighting each other on who should start at QB and the line. ect ect. This coach has his hands full. I don't know if he will stick around if they keep acting like that. If they would only give him a chance. Say 3 to 4 years. Not 3-6 months. Need more support like PureFan and RC PACK. Most of the others are turning on the coach and bad mouthing him or just running. :cry::cry:

I'm not sure who your talking about but if thats the case they weren't FANS they were just wagon jumpers and we don't need them anyway. I for one am behind Coach Copley and his staff 100% and I challenge the true GC fans to be in Grayson Friday night and root this team into the playoffs.

By the way GC's 8th grade team beat Verity last Sat. night to win the NEKC. They then played Mon. in the playoff and lost to Rowan Co. The GC 7th grade beat Lewis Co. Tues. in the playoff and will play again tomorrow. Congratulations to Coach Bruce Hunt and P. J. Ratcliff. OUTSTANDING JOB!!!!!:dancingpa

The majority of us do not support the thoughts, attitude, or actions of this one parent. I do though understand the frustration and have great respect for all they have done for the team.

 

The boys are still positive and are getting a little more rest this week with school being closed today and tomorrow. They will be ready for East Carter.

We had a great meeting with Coach last night. The boys are pumped and despite all the injuries we will show up, play hard, and walk away winners!
