Protecting QB's

Featured Replies

I am fine with protecting QB's... but you have to protect Jamarcus Russell the same you do Tom Brady. The biggest problem is protecting the stars more than the others, which creates an unfair advantage for that team.

Tom Brady is worth more than Russell. Why not protect him? Just kidding by the way.

You just mislead me. All this talk about "your referees". I just figured maybe you played. Or you were Goodell or something.

Tom Brady must be worth something. They formed a new rule after someone was blocked into his knee. When Kimo Vonpiece of crap crawled into Palmers knee I didn't see a new rule.

My fault, I didn't realize I couldn't be a fan of the NFL's officiating without playing on Sunday or being the commissioner....:idunno:

Brady > Palmer.

Ray Lewis was trying to end his career and you're calling it a joke?

If Ray Lewis was seriously trying to end Brady's career, then Brady would be eating through a straw today. :ohbrother:

That's an interesting revisionist view of history. Do you have similarly harsh words for Robert Geathers?

Brady > Palmer.

Which is exactly the way the NFL views it. Thank you for proving me right.

I dog any player that I feel delivers a cheap shot. Whether I am a fan or not.:thumb:

OK, my point being that if you believe the hit on CP was a cheap shot, then the hit by Geathers on Trent Green was even worse.

Hmm possibly. Geathers is running full speed at a guy and hits him in the head and Kimo is crawling at a knee. I don't think either guy was trying to hurt the opposing QB.

I don't know where you come up with "crawling" toward him. He got blocked into him.

 Not exactly. Bengals and Steelers fans are obviously going to see this play differently.

Reason's you are wrong per this visual evidence:

1) It's Terrell Suggs not Ray Lewis. So no Lewis didn't try to end it for him.

2) He was pushed by the linemen and falling.

3) Even while falling, he makes contact with his right leg. He could've easily gone full force into both legs if he wanted to end his career.

I like how #67 misses his block and allows Suggs in and then points at him for the Ref to see, "Look, that's a penalty" so no one notices he missed his block.
