This being a district game it would have to be played sometime. Pulaski does not have an off week untill week 11 and Lincoln plays that week.

That would be a big blow to Lincoln-you lose all that gate and concession money. Plus that would be an unfair punishment putting them in a big hole as far as making the playoffs. Can't see it happening.

Man, I would hate to play a football game with no practice all week. That's a tall task to ask, especially if many of the players are/have been sick.

Here's the deal. Lincoln County has closed all of their schools and cancelled all after-school activities, including football practice. I guess the game is still "on" because it hasn't been called "off". The decision whether to do that, from my understanding, will not be made until Thursday.

Good question. Pretty much a no win situation for LC. If they play Friday, they are playing a game with zero preparation, and probably a lot of ill kids. If they don't play they are looking a forfiet, and a lot of $$$ for breaking the gurantee. Not to mention losing the gate/concessions.

 

At this point, I really think it's 50/50 that this gets played.

The word is Lincoln goes in on Sunday's for practice and they had it on Monday. If they get to practice on Thursday that would give them 3 days to prepare for the game. At this point of the season Lincoln should be ready for whatever a team does during a game. I think the game should be played because the players have worked all year to play their season out.

For whatever reason, you are missing my point. I think the game will be played but the powers-that-be have not yet committed to that. It is likely that Lincoln County will want to play on Saturday BUT that has not yet been determined.

No game this weekend. All Lincoln County activities are cancelled until Monday. I don't know at this point if it is going to be a forfeit but it looks like it.

Is this confirmed? No game? Well, just got off the phone with Lincoln County high School. All school activities...including Friday night's game have been canceled. So, NO GAME FRIDAY night! this is from Lincoln County High School front office.
