Ole Miss and South Carolina

Featured Replies

I'm telling you guys, South Carolina is a pretty good team. They'll be in a bowl game :thumb:

They just might completely shut out UK.

I agree. Never count out Spurrier as the ole ball coach. Im really enjoying this SCarolina defense thus far. If they could only do something in the redzone this game wouldn't be as close as it is!

UK will have a tough time at USC, no question.

I've been saying this about Ole Miss all week. I said they'd get beat by Bama, LSU, and a non-ranked SEC team. This game isn't over, but they do not look good tonight at all. Like I said, they have been over-hyped since their win against Florida.

Yep, this is an 8-4 or 9-3 team, IMO.

Arkansas will put it all over Ole Miss! It's POSSIBLE that Ole Miss may lose 5 games this season!

That's what I said, and people thought I was crazy. ESPN is the root of all evil in sports. Just because most agree on something doesn't mean it's true. Anyone watching tonight can see that Ole Miss is very, very overrated. They haven't looked good at all this season.

Houston Nutt is good at sneaking up on people, but I didn't think he would do well as a favorite, judging by his last season at Arkansas. Snead looks like he did at the beginning of last year.

On a side note, I think Stephen Garcia has some promise. He's just a sophomore, and is prone to stupid mistakes, but you can't deny he has the tools to be a good QB.

Snead is for 4-15 with 41 yards. What has gotten into him? This isn't a Heisman candidate at all. He looks like Jamarcus Russell against Kansas City last saturday...

Was Snead that good before though? Which teams that Ole Miss defeated had a good defense last year? UF did. But that was a upset, and a totally different Florida team emerged from that. LSU's defense last year was pathetic, with the exception of their bowl game. Texas Tech doesn't play defense and doesn't want to. Over-rated.

Along with Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech they were the biggest PRETENDER of this season as far as the title race goes.

Ole Miss is right back in the thick of things...

16-10 Gamecocks with a little under 10 minutes left to play in the 4th.

South Carolina is not playing as well as they did in the first half. Garcia has missed his last 5 passes. His guys are open, hes just not hitting his marks! Im still not impressed either way with Ole Miss.

The punter could've ran for 30 yards right there. There wasn't anyone on the field checking him.

Its been the McCluster show the whole 4th qaurter.
