Yeah..

I voted Cincy but think Pittsburg will win. :puke:

Pitt 34-14. The Bengals offense could not be more predictable with a run every first down. And with a deffense like the Steelers ha they will not do anything.

Big Ben is undefeated in Ohio and I think that continues...

Steelers 27

Bengals 17

Yeah most of these guys on this team are new and that mentality isn't in the locker room anymore IMO. You act like we doesn't want to win or something. Of course he wants to win he is just cheap.

Nobody said Mike Brown doesn't want to win. He just wants to do it in as cheap and inept a manner as possible.

But please, tell me what major changes have been made in the franchise from last year to this one to expunge the loser mentality that so permeates the Bengals?

Obviously Mike Brown is a big reason why the Bengals have basically been horrible for almost 20 years. However even though he is the owner, it doesn't mean that this team actually doesn't have a lot of talent for a change. I think you can even see that this is not one of those usual Bengal teams, they do have the talent and actually showing some toughness this year.

This is the NFL. There isn't a huge difference talent-wise between the best and worst team (remember the whole "any given Sunday" cliche?), which means the little things (scouting, coaching, intelligent moves by the owner) are what makes the difference. The Bengals lose in bunches because they fail miserably at the little things.

There is a good number of new guys that haven't been her for the losing years and it is not ingrained in their brain yet like it has been on past teams. Carson, Chad, and Shayne are really the only guys that have been here a long time and they were even here for the 2 "good" years.

All three of the guys on NFL network last night picked the bengals to win the game against the steelers on Sunday. Probably the kiss of death for the tigers.

Nice little segment on the Bengals/Steelers with Herm Edwards picking the Bengals and calling them a legit playoff contender. Not saying I agree, but those out there that think it is only Bengals fans are obviously wrong.

Ed Bouchette, a Steeler beat writer, picked both Chicago and Cincy to beat the Steelers. He has them to their normal slow start, but still winning the division.
