If You Accuse the President of Being a Liar...

Featured Replies

Is it possible that the new hero to some who called the President a "liar" in front of millions has "exaggerated" his legal resume?

Joe the Hero claimed that he was an immigration lawyer. Interesting that that fact never showed up on any of his resumes. An attorney from his hometown said he's only been a real estate attorney and a prominent immigration lawyer from SC said he's never come across him or heard of him as an immigration lawyer.

As TO says, get your popcorn.

So true but , again, that's not the issue. The other pols didn't accuse the Prez of lying.

Racism? People are afraid of that issue, but I can sense it when it concerns the President. I mean, who would have something against the President of the United States speaking to students about staying in school if it wasn't race related.

Racism?

Without question.

Without question.

That's pitiful, and I agree with you 100 percent.

Uh, I'm not sure what we agree on. I was joking.

The Democrats in the early 90's and Daddy Bush was talking to the students.

They had an investigation because they said Daddy Bush was using taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate the students. GAO said it was fine.

I think the only thing that most politicians are better at than lying is digging their own graves.

They seem to be pretty good at adultery too.

Does it really matter what type of law he was practicing?

Honest question.

I just think it's sad he had the outburst in the first place, and then that people try to twist anything and everything to make it drama and newsworthy as a spinoff.

And it also disgusts me that because he is from SC and has ties to Strom Thurmond that makes him racist, and his outburst had to have been racially motivated. I'll let everyone know, I'm from SC, and the most racist people I've ever met, have been from this area and from the northeast (Virginia). Everywhere has the token racist people, but him being from the south doesn't automatically imply this was racially motivated. And it also wouldn't surprise me a bit if he exaggerated and said he was an immigration lawyer, being that he cried out "You lie" in respond to healthcare covering illegal immigrants. He'd want to have some credibility on the issue. I'm sure the thought never crossed his mind people may actually check. (Which either means he's an idiot, or it DID cross his mind and he didn't care.) He's a politician. Unfortunately the expectations these days just aren't that high.

I don't think it matters, aside from the topic in question that he made an outburst about had to do with illegal immigrants being covered under healthcare. So him saying he was an immigration lawyer, if he was in fact not, was him trying to make himself credible and relatable to the issue, and really he might have just been lying which is hypocritical given his outburst.

Isn't the real issue whether Obama was lieing?

Oh, really?
