Central has showed nothing to date to make anyone think they're the team you seem to be implying ("hang with JC" ?!?). Don't get me wrong, JC has good players. However, consistantly losing the football is just as much a fundamental problem as is incorrect blocking/tackling technique.

 

The turnover bug is bad luck if it's one or two games. But if it's consistantly being seen in every game, it's obviously not being addressed/fixed (whether that fix is technique or different personel).

 

A large majority of their Turnovers were forced by some pretty decent teams.

The QB, that has been starting looked pretty good to me.

Just my opinion but when your 0-4 there is no controversy. Every position is up for grabs and every position is open. 4-0 it's a controversy, 0-4 it's not.

 

Sorry to refer to my own quote but the possible exception to my earlier post might be number 42 (MLB and FB). He's a beast and maybe the only player on either side of the ball that gave Boyle county much trouble.

Jude is not bad either 64. JC will be OK. I am sure if another QB should be playing Jim would pull the trigger. Ratliff is a heck of an athlete and has played a lot of ball at JC during his time at different postions.

What are they fighting on who gets to hand the ball off?

I know that Nathan Dillon RB/OLB #10 quit the team. Sounds like the plane has crashed into the mountain. I am a Paintsville fan, but I have always supported Johnson Central and wish them well. Hopefully, they can get things turned around, but it looks like it will be a long season. What district do they pair up with in the playoffs this year?

Wow!!!!!! This does not bode well for JC if this is true. He was one of the best players on the field last year when Highlands play JC in the playoffs.

Here is what I know! Kid breaks hand in first game of year against Boyle, Rushes back to play against Sheldon Clark, tried to practice all week but had a hard time gripping the ball, limited carries against SC, Dad goes ballistic, end of story. :isurrender:Sometimes attitudes are hard to deal with in kids and parents. He will regret this in about five to ten years when he looks back.
