Is this Dixie coach, Tom Spritzky's last year?

Geez Clyde you can't catch a break, I got what you were saying.

Where is Dave Brossart now, anyways?

Brossart is at Dixie...offensive line coach I believe. That is probably part of the reason for rumors that he will replace Spritzky. Personally, I think it will be very tough for Brossart to replace Spritzky. His CCH experience will taint him in the eyes of boosters and fans. Plus, if you are getting rid of a coach because of poor performance, do you want to hire one of his assistants who contributed to the poor performance? I think if Brossart wants to be head coach again, he is going to have to go to a school (probably a smaller school) that needs a turnaround and make it happen...like maybe a Lloyd?

Sounds good. I'll start spreading the "Brossart to Lloyd rumor"

They should still be a fairly easy #2 come playoff time.

Easy #2? Really?

Where is one going to find a better gig of head football coach and AD? Tom is not quite retirement age. I do not think anyone in their right mind would leave that set-up! Unless, a principalship wold open up in the Kenton County Schools...

Actually, no. For some reason I thought they played CovCath already this season. :idunno: I must be living in the past. That adds a whole new wrinkle to what I posted, and the way that CovCath is startring to gel, Dixie might wind up limping in at #3.

Brossart is the OC this year as mentioned above. I believe he does also work with the line though, however, they do have another coach from CCH on the sidelines that might be working with the line.

CCH and Dixie are two, totally different school. I don't think you would have nearly the same amount of booster and fan influence as you do at CCH. Up until last week, Brossart has done a great job with the play calling. From what I see on the sidelines, the kids seem to like him.

As Clyde mentioned, Spritzky will leave when he's ready.

Why would anyone bring this up in week 5 of the season this thread is nothing short of rumor spreading.

They want to start a rumor

duh :deadhorse:
