I am hopeful that this is the week we right the ship.

I hope the Rams can re-group and get things on track. They have to potential, they just have to put it to use.

 

I agree Ram, thre is not much any of us can say to light a fire under these kids.

Rams, it is up to you and how bad you want it, how hard you are willing to work for it all week and what kind of effort you are willing to put forth on Friday night. :idunno:

Should you choose the same mind set and effort as the last couple of weeks then you will get the exact same result.

I have faith in the kids form Raceland, there Coaching staff has not changed sence going 11-2, 7-5, and 12-1 three years before this season. At 1-3, I surprised to hear that some people think that the Raceland's coaching staff in some way, forgot how to coach football any more. I will say it again Raceland will be fine, even after a 1-3 start. The Rams start there run this week with East Carter winning 28-16.

Raceland 24, East Carter 14. I just can't see the Rams losing to the Raiders this season.

 

Hey, didn't you post in the Raceland/Greenup prediction thread that you couldn't see Raceland losing 3 in a row? Your prediction this week doesn't make me feel secure. :lol:

The coaches should SHAKE things up a bit. Some of the boys on side, put them in. What could it hurt? May make the I's and Me's think. The line needs to be more aggressive. Tackle not dance. Focus. Dont over think Just Play RAM FOOTBALL!!!

 

And I have to agree with some of the comments being made. I have left the stands every game this year b/c of somebody shouting stupids, or whatever. That is exactly NOT what this team needs to hear!!!

Nice post RamMom. I agree that maybe some of the talent that hasn't been utilized may need to get a chance. Who knows what they can do unless they get the chance.

Coach Maynard told them before the Boyd County game that they were playing for the RAM(S) and not a RAM, that it was a team not an individual sport. Coach Hoof always tells them before the game to put Team first and Self last. I think many on this team need to take this to heart.

This is very true Doc. And it shows on Friday nights too. It seems like everyone is just out to get "theirs". It's almost like they all hate eachother and don't even wanna play next to one another. If this problem can be fixed, the rams will turn this thing around! It's not a matter of talent and skill anymore.

Oldrambler, you are exactly right. 1-3 is due to (lack of) effort not preparation.

The Rams coaching staff is still one of if not the best coaching staff in the area even after the 1-3 start. Sence moving Ashland in '06 I have been impressed with the physical play of Raceland. I feel that Coach Vanderhoof gets the most form the talent he has on the field. If Raceland wins the state title at some point in the future, coach Vanderhoof and his staff would be coaching the team.

I feel there is not one player and not one coach that wants to lose.

They ALL want to win.

 

So maybe not lack of effort but lack of experience....

 

We just need some things to go our way...
