Should be a great game. This has to be the Biggest regular season game Whitley has had in a long, long time. Maybe forever.

 

Not even close. This game is for pride only. To call it the biggest regular sesaon game in a long time, there would have to be some impact on the season. The Letcher game is much bigger than this one for the Colonels.

 

It's a great rivalry game. It will be a great atmosphere. It will be fun to watch and play in. But it won't mean squat for either team later in the season. Just look at last year, Whitley was pummled and still went 12-2 and made it to the semi finals of 5A.

Although the truth is based on knowledge, it sometimes bears out that it is not always right.

I'd Like to see Carton and Davenport get about 10-15 carries each. I may be given grief over this, but I honestly believe Carton is the best back on this team if he shows up in shape. That in no way is discounting any of the other kids’ abilities though; Bell has 4 or 5 kids that could be the #1 back on just about any other team in this general area. Carton has the strength to pick up the tough yards that Davenport hasn’t been able to get at some times, and Davenport has that big play speed that Carton doesn’t, a nice mixture of these two, plus the passing game with athletes like Raines and the older Davenport at receiver could lead to some serious headaches for opposing defenses.

Davenport IMO breaks a ton of tackles for back his size, plus he is much stronger than people think. I truly think they will all get their carries and their will be certain games 1 particular RB is the GO-TO back. I don't think any of them will know when that time may come!!!!!

I am interested on seeing how the Bobcats jell with bring back Carthon. Not sure if there is any hurt feelings or not but a few faithfull Bobcat fans I spoke to are leary on letting him back. I wish the boy the best but I have seen it ruin team chemistry.

Don't know who you have talked to but nothing but positive remarks iw hat I have heard. That is the word in Bell County I am sure what you heard is from the Whitley faithful probably dreading his return.

I agree with Commander everything I have heard has been positive. That is coming from the players. Parents, well we all know you can't please Parents. lol
