September 4, 200917 yr I disagree. That is totally unacceptable of Blount. This is football not boxing or out in the street. Blount should never play another game at Oregon. :taz: I agree 100%!
September 4, 200917 yr People on here are assuming the BS player was talking smack. I would offer that it's possible he simply said "Good game, you all have a good team and will have a very good season". Is that really what you think he said? How many times have you seen a coach about to rip a player for saying "Good game, you all have a good team will have a very good season"? That coach was about to get up in his face, and him turning to face that coach was why he didn't even see the punch coming. Blount it totally in the wrong for the punch, should have found a better way to deal with being taunted, but that doesn't stop it from being hilarious to me that Boise State player looked so pleased with himself for what he just said and had that silly grin immediately displaced from his face.
September 4, 200917 yr Author People on here are assuming the BS player was talking smack. I would offer that it's possible he simply said "Good game, you all have a good team and will have a very good season". It really doesn't matter what was said, Blount ran his mouth all week leading up to the game. He deserved whatever was said back to him and regardless of what was said he in no way shape or form should have punched someone. Also, yes he went down from a punch he didn't see coming, but he does immediately get back up. It's not as if he was knocked out. Blount was wrong and should receive a severe punishment. 1 game is not enough. Had this happened during the game, then I could chalk it up as emotions running high. But well after the game, he's lucky he if he doesn't get charged with assault(which I know he won't). :thumb::thumb: Good post. Although I am not sure about an assault charge:idunno:. As I said earlier, if I am the Oregon coach the Blount is suspended indefinately untill he proves that he can be a player that can and will represent the university in a proper manner. Should he not want to do that.....then he is gone. No player anywhere is bigger than the team or the university.

I agree, and the fact that Blount went after the fans after punching the Boise player should get him pitched for the season. I doubt that will happen either.
September 4, 200917 yr Author From the looks of Boise St. schedule, one would think they would go undefeated. But will they get a BCS bid? Should Boise go unbeaten the yes, imo they will get a BCS bid. That was the most lopsided 19-8 game ever played. I agree, Boise outplayed, outcoached and outclassed Oregon from start to finish, the only thing that stopped Bose was Boise themselves (and they did that often)

No:lol: He ran his mouth. But the point was(which I know you already know), we don't know exactly what was said. Could've been...."Yeah Blount, we suck really bad, check the scoreboard" Or it could've been "Take that and shove it in your pie-hole"
September 4, 200917 yr I disagree about the Boise player, he did not throw a punch or anything like that. The Boise player just was giving him some "smack" talk. There probably is not a player anywhere that hasn't done that, it (trash talk) happens in every game without fail. There imo is no defense for Blount, a classless thug......Period. I'd be fine with a one game suspension, trash talk is one thing but trash talk and actually touching another player is provocation.
September 4, 200917 yr Roid rage at it's finest. He should be tested today by the school and the AD should watch to make sure it's him who pees in the cup.
September 4, 200917 yr I agree, absolutely no career to speak of...well unless you consider the NFL a career, but other then that he's going no where. NFL is overrated anyway.

September 4, 200917 yr Nevermind, I remember this cat now. He was going to Auburn and couldn't make the grades. He's a moron.
September 8, 200917 yr I agree, absolutely no career to speak of...well unless you consider the NFL a career, but other then that he's going no where. Not looking good for him now. I guess he'll have to settle for the IFL, if it's still in operation.
