Three Rings of Death Xbox 360

Featured Replies

I haven't had the RROD on mine yet. I did have to send one off though already, due to another problem. It was saying that every disc I had was "dirty or damaged" and couldn't be played. It was right after I bought a new NCAA football game too, so I was mad.

They sent me a refurbished one and it has worked well since.

Had this problem too kinda. Everything I put in the tray kept saying there was nothing in the tray. I have had a total of 4 Xbox's.

Should be back in the mail to you tomorrow!

Just got mine yesterday after reading this. Thanks WSF. I think my 3 years are up too. All I wanted was a relaxing day with some Tiger Woods too...:irked:

No, last year they put an extended 3 year warranty on all Xbox360's. Your warranty should still be active. Call Microsoft.

Anytime.:D

I'm trying to see where my package is, but Xbox doesn't leaving a tracking number. Hopefully it gets here by the weekend.

I just checked my warranty. It's over and it's 100 dollars to fix:madman::madman::madman::madman:

I think what they announced was from your date of purchase you get 3 years, not necessarily 3 extra years from the announcement for all Xbox's. You had me excited until I finally got to talk to a human being on xbox's support line instead of a freaking computer lady.

So do they bill you before the fix or after? I got my shipping label in the mail yesterday and have not sent it off yet. So far there has been no mention of any cost, either on the web sight or conformation e-mail. I'm not 100% sure mine is 3 years old though.

I'd say before because when I clicked my issue it gave me a 99.99 estimated cost at the bottom of the site page. That's when I said the 4 letter word that rhymes with mitt :irked:

You can renew your warranty I think. It doesn't cost that much I think.
