sportsnut859
ESPN just said the Bengals and Andre Smith should have a deal done within the next 48 hours, but I just cited ESPN so take it for what it's worth.

5wide
Doesn't matter...the Bengals drug their feet and wasted another first round pick's chance to actually the help the team in the year he was drafted. Maybe he can help, but they certainly won't be getting the best from him. I'm more of a casual Bengals fan partially because they're close, and they drive me nuts. I can't imagine what it must be like to be a die-hard.
Clyde
One more example of the ineptitude of the Bengals. Realizing your line is going to be a problem and that you need to protect your #1 asset you draft a kid and then decide to play hardball with him. stick1
He's way behind but they need him bad IMO! It will be late in the season before he starts getting it all figured out probably.
HammerTime
^ It will be late in the season before he figures it out but 4 weeks of training camp would have made up for all of that?

Training camp is very important, especially for a rookie.
