Marquardt is very good, IMO. He gets overlooked because he came in and got dominated by Silva (like everyone else). But, take Silva out of that division, and he's as good as anyone else.

As for Mike Brown, probably going to face Jose Aldo next. That should be great as well, Aldo is a very exciting fighter, check him out if you haven't seen any of his fights.

^ I didn't realize this was the guy that beat Cub Swanson in 8 secs. I saw that fight. I checked out the Rolando Perez fight as well. Awesome stand-up. He will have his work cut out for him if he tries to stand up with Brown.

I would like to Add, For his fight later this Month, He's been in Vegas training on his Stand up and Muay Thai with Wanderlei Silva...Maia and Silva are really good friends..

 

He's in good company. Wanderlei is one of my personal favs. If he practices his striking long enough with Silva then he won't just be that BJJ guy anymore.

This doesnt really have anything to do with this thread but didnt want to make a new thread.

 

This video was made before UFC 100 but it shows Brock training his ground game for Mir. Brocks trainers predict the fight dead on. I think he is going to be really really good for a long time. At the 2:52 mark he is using the same move he used to pound Mir with the whole first round.
