bigben21 Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Did any one hear any updates or hear anything at all.
ft bronc Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Total guess, but maybe Hunter's brother? They play together on the Midland Indians (or maybe Braves).
KyTiger89 Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Who is James Jones??? Total guess, but maybe Hunter's brother? They play together on the Midland Indians (or maybe Braves). He is not Hunter's brother. No relation. He is a great ball player from Dayton High School, but gets very little (at most) recognition because he played at Dayton. He will help out Bellevue tremedously this season.
NKYThreeFer Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 This is very good for the kid. I watched him play, and no disrespect to Dayton, but he may have been the only talented ballplayer on that team. Talented kid though for sure.
ft bronc Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Total guess, but maybe Hunter's brother? They play together on the Midland Indians (or maybe Braves). I stand corrected. Also must not be the same Jones from Midland then because the Enquirer says he's from Kings.

Did he play varsity for Dayton? Did he move into Bellevue?
Clyde Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Is this the kid that was also rumored to be going to Holmes to play basketball?
KyTiger89 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Did he play varsity for Dayton? Did he move into Bellevue? Yes he played varsity for Dayton. He was very, very talented there pitching and in the OF. Yes, he moved into Bellevue. Is this the kid that was also rumored to be going to Holmes to play basketball? No, I dont think he has played basketball for Dayton. That is Shawn Eastin probably.
Theoldguy Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 The young man and his family had to move what, a whole half a mile, to maybe a mile.:idunno: Wonder what the KHSAA thinks about this? The below comment has nothing to do with young Jones! :sssh::sssh: You know the easiest way for kids to play where they want to, is for the parents to never own a home, just rent! You just up and move from apt to apt as the need arises without having to worry about trying to sell the house.:sssh::sssh:
wilsa611 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 James might be on the Midland thing still because he used to play for the Midland Fury in summer ball.

PerfectGame list the top 250 high school players for the 2010 Draft. The highest Kentucky player I could see is : 244 Hunter Jones SS Sr. R-R 6-2 185 Bellevue HS Bellevue, Ky. 8/17/1991 I heard that Hunter Jones is son of the former Red, Tracy Jones? Could you tell me more about him. Will he be a senior this coming year?

Plays the right way.
