Has anyone mentioned Bubba Paris? Desales grad, University of Michigan (All American), San Fran 49ers, Multiple Superbowls...oh and NFL and I believe College Football Hall of Fame!!! Has anyone from this state accomplished more??? He's at least top 3 players ever from the Commonwealth. I guess because he's a lineman he's easy to forget. hahaha

Wasn't there a very large Offensive Tackle that played on the Hogs with the Redskins that was from Louisville? His name escapes me right now.

Anyone want to take a stab at adding some more names in here? I'll see if I can't re-compile my list with the updates suggested prior to this one.

THE PREVIOUS LIST STARTS HERE.

Take a look at any schools you follow or have knowledge about, and post anyone you think I should add.

PLEASE MAKE NOTE:

  • This list only includes NCAA Division I FBS Schools - not FCS.

  • Ivy League schools have not been Division I FBS since 1981.

  • Eastern Kentucky University is not a Division I FBS program.

  • Western Kentucky University has only been a Division I FBS program since 2008. Only players who have played for the Hilltoppers from 2008 or later are included herein.

  • This is not an NFL list, so players who went to the NFL from FCS, Division II, and Division III programs are not included.

  • Walk-ons and preferred-walk ons are included in this list along with all scholarship players.

Owensboro High- Mark Higgs(RB;UK),Carlos Phillips(OL;UK),David Tandy(DL;Vanderbilt),PJ Johnson (WR;Middle Tennessee), Justin Miller (CB;Clemson), Bo Smith (CB;UK), Buster Ashley (OL Lville & WKU), Tyler Wimsatt (LB;Lville).

I had Tyler Wimasatt and Justin Miller on there...good gets on the other guys, there. Any clue what years Higgs, Phillips, Tandy, Johnson, Smith, and Ashley graduated?
