Best BBQ in Lexington?

Featured Replies

KY BBQ is new, it's located on New Circle near Winchester Road.

We're waiting to hear from someone who has been there before we give it a try. Lexington is a 130 mile round trip and I hate to make that investment before getting a thumbs-up or two.

Billys BBQ in Chevy Chase. Ones you mention don't even compare.

:thumb: I agree.

Well this thread got me in the mood. Just got back from all-you-can-eat beef brisket at Sonny's.

I do not like Billy's BBQ. Out of convenience I have been there many times and always think it is overrated and over-priced.

I used to love the Red, Hot, and Blue which was in Chevy Chase right across the street from Billy's. They had great BBQ and the best potato salad!

I might try it this week. If I do, I will let you know.

Sonny's in Richmond is the best! All you can eat plus awesome sauces and sides! Their sweet tea is great too. Plus, it's pretty affordable. I drive the 2 hours sometimes just to go there!

That's dedication right there. I always get the sliced brisket (all you can eat) with cornbread and a sweet tea. My favorite sauce is the "sweet" sauce.
