Brossart had defeated Campbell County in the old 36th District tournament back when LeRoy Randell coached the Camels. This took place sometime in the 70's. Tom Seither was the Brossart coach.

Also Former coaches could have turned down offers to go to tournamnets like the AIT, Code is not backing down from any challenge.

To the best of my knowledge it probably was.

I don't remember Tommy Creamer beating them, or the guys beating them through the 80s.

 

We also beat Highlands back in the seventies. Tom Russell's final year as head coach - the year before Ken Shields arrived.

 

Our first win over NCC wasn't until January of 1999.

16-11 last year with losses to CovCath, Mason Cty.(2), Scott, Boone, Highlands, Clark, Newport, Holmes, Scott County, Brossart; most of which the previous coach wouldn't even schedule?? Upgrading the schedule is how the Camels can get back to where their fans want them to be, but I guess they could go back to their All "A" schedule of the mid-2000's and still be lucky to win 16 games?? Wow--What do these guys want??

 

I am not sure you know what your talking about when it comes to Campbell County's schedule under Coach Reitz. Mason Cty, Scott, Brossart were scheduled twice a year, Boone, Highlands, Cov Cath, Newport and Holmes were also played every year.

Those teams above are scheduled every year regardless of the coach, because the teams are in their district/ region or they are apart of NKAC.

 

So let me ask you this, when did Coach Reitz ever schedule to travel to a state power house like Scott County?

I would start off with saying Coach Reitz polished this team. I can't recall the tough games simply because I don't remember but they were young and Coach Reitz couldn't play the big teams until he had a big team. Bottom Line CCHS shouldn't have let him go to Harrison they missed out on a sweet sixteen because of it.:cry:

What team do you think Coach Reitz would/should have taken to the Sweet Sixteen? The reason I ask is that I can't remember any of Campbell's recent teams being good enough to win the 10th region including the last few yrs which Coach Code has been coaching.
