The shedule strength does suck but his numbers he puts up are crazy.

Bellevue's SOS has improved greatly over the last couple of years and I suspect that will continue. With the interest Jones has garnered, the team as well as teams that play them should get more looks from scouts & coaches which in turn benefits everyone.

 

Bellevue lost Combs at second who was a good defensive player and had a good avg I believe. Not sure who will replace him, but overall, Bellevue returns a good lineup and pitching staff.

There is kid named Thompson that could take Combs place, he also pitches.

I personally think Conner Hempel is the most underrated player in the 9th. People know he's good but he has one of the smoothest swings I've seen at the high school level as a sophomore. He'll be special.

 

I will make a prediction that he is in the running for POY next year and will win it in 2011

again, sorry for the duplication.

The left side of Beechwoods infield is as good as any, with Bertke and Larimore.

 

Not to mention comback player of the year Brad Leeke in Center Field.

He is very solid behind the plate with a way above average arm. I have seen him play a few times and to go along with his physical skills he does a tremendous job handling the pitchers. I heard he is having a great summer with really one area to improve on is hitting consistently.

He has shown improvement offensively. I know of at least two D1 schools coming to check him out in the very near future.
