Willie Schlarman Proud Papa

Featured Replies

Willie Schlarman, the recently retired head coach of the Highlands Bluebirds completed a personal triple crown of sorts this morning when William Thomas Schlarman came into this world.

He checked in at 8pounds-10ounces and 22inches in length.

I've known Willie all of my adult life and all he's ever wanted in life were a regional championship basketball team, accomplished in 2000 when the Brossart Mustangs beat Mason County in the 10th Region Championship game prior to upsetting Graves County in the Sweet Sixteen State Tournament in Rupp.

He took his wife Julie to be his life's partner in the spring of 2005, and today completed the sweep when his son was born shortly after 8am this morning (Friday, June 26th).

Mom and baby are reportedly doing fine.

Congrats to Willie, Julie and the entire Schlarman and Bluebird family!!!

We should have hired him at Mason Co. Maybe the kid will grow up and coach the Royals

Congrats Coach!

Congratulations to the Schlarman family. Can't wait to see little Willie play in about 16 years! He'll be a stud just like his daddy was!
